WINNERS AND QUITTERS
A quitter falls down and is dead
The winner rises up and moves ahead
Quitters keep looking behind
Winners are focused on the prize
A quitter is fearful and afraid
The winner is fearless and is brave
A quitter complains about the storm
The winner moves forward fearing no harm
Jesus takes quitters
And makes them winners
Peter was a quitter
Who became a mountain mover
Peter denied Jesus thrice
But when He was filled with God’s Spirit
He became fearless and wise
With God’s Grace that none of us did merit
When the world saw the boldness of the quitter
Among themselves they began to chatter
Being with Jesus made Peter a lion
Peter became strong ’cause on Christ He was reliant
Walking with Jesus will change you forever
Jesus is a winner
Who shed His blood for all sinners
If you accept His sacrifice
You will receive eternal life
Run with God’s Promises
Jesus has gone before us
Jesus won the victory
From sins set us free
In Christ we have the power
Don’t be a quitter
A quitter never wins
The winner never quits
